Lance Mancuso

Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, Lance Mancuso attended high school at Pearl River Central High School in Carrier, Mississippi and holds a B.S. and M.S. from the University of Southern Mississippi. Lance served as running backs coach at Picayune Memorial High School and then moved to Lumberton for three years as Offensive Coordinator. He moved to the job of Head Coach at Richton High School in Richton, Mississippi and then returned to his Alama Mater as 1st year assistant coach at Pearl River Central High School. After leaving Pearl River Central High School, Mancuso's next head coaching job would be at Seminary High School where he coached there for 5 years and won his 1st State Championship in 2003 going undefeated (15-0). He spent 3 years as Head Coach at Poplarville High School in Poplarville, Mississippi which was his last post before coming to Jefferson Davis County! Coach Mancuso became the Head Coach at Bassfield High School in 2008. He led the Yellowjackets to five state championships with four of them being consecutive. He also added another state championship in 2017 with the 1st year JDCHS Jaguars going (15-1). In 2019 & 2021, he led the Jaguars to 2 more State Championship! Mancuso now has 9 State Championship! Currently, Lance is the Head Coach and Athletic Director of the Jefferson Davis County High School Jaguars.

Quentin Sullivan

Quentin Sullivan is originally from Collins, Mississippi. He was part of the 1st State Championship Team in 2002 before moving on to Jones County Junior College in Ellisville, Mississippi. After Jones, he moved on to Alcorn State University in Lorman, Mississippi where he earned All-SWAC honors in his 1st and 2nd year. Coach Sullivan began his coaching career in Portland, Oregon where he spent 2 years at Benson High School. In 2010, he moved back to Mississippi to begin coaching at Lawrence County High School in Monticello, Mississippi for one year. In 2011, his next coaching job was at Columbia High School in Columbia, Mississippi as the Assistant Football and Basketball Coach 5 years until 2017. Sullivan was then employed by the Jefferson Davis County School District. Coach Sullivan is currently serving as the Biology I Teacher along with being the Head Track & Field Coach! Quentin Sullivan was also part of the JDCHS Jaguars 2017, 2019 & 2021 3A State Champion Football Team.
